A travel nurse on assignment in Oxnard, staying near Mandalay Village Marketplace, called me on a Monday. Her 2018 Navigator needed a replacement smart key and the Lincoln dealer had already given her the timeline: Friday, earliest. They also mentioned she might need the vehicle towed in, which tracks with what Lincoln's own support page says about replacement keys sometimes requiring a retailer visit.

I was at her apartment that same Monday afternoon. Connected my Smart Pro to the OBD-II port and ran the Intelligent Access key registration through the BCM, which on these is the Ford HC3T module. The 2018 Navigator uses PATS 4 with AES encryption, so the handshake between the tool and the security system takes a couple of minutes while it processes. Programmed the M3N-A2C940780 fob, cut the emergency HU101 blade on site, then tested every button: lock, unlock, remote start, panic, and liftgate.
After that, the real test. Walk-up proximity unlock on all four doors, push-button start, and walk-away auto lock. All good.
She drove herself to work Tuesday morning. The whole job took about 40 minutes, and she paid a fraction of what the dealer quoted, without the tow and without the four-day wait.
