I was already running a call near East Area 2 in Santa Paula on a Friday evening when the next one came in. A couple had been at an outdoor event, came back to their 2002 Land Cruiser, and neither fob was responding. Doors would not lock or unlock remotely. The dealer option would have meant leaving the car there all weekend, then dealing with it Monday during business hours, and paying considerably more. When the parts are already in the van and the tools are dialed in for this exact key type, a Friday-night call is no different from a Tuesday morning.
