Built his new HYQ14FBA from a blank, paired it, tested all four buttons plus walk-away lock and push-button start.
His GS started right there in that gravel lot. He just sat in the driver seat for a second, hands on the wheel, like he was making sure it was real.
The whole thing took about 40 minutes. He kept the GPS pin text on his phone to show his wife later, like proof that a locksmith actually drove out to a vineyard and made a Lexus key from nothing.
