Got a call from a nursing student at her apartment breezeway near Spring Road area in Moorpark. She had one Intelligent Key for her 2018 Pathfinder and the shell had cracked right along the seam. Buttons exposed, the board barely hanging on inside. She was holding it together with a hair tie.

I drove out and decoded the door lock with my NSN14 Lishi, which reads the edge-cut wafer positions Nissan uses across the R52 lineup. Once I had the cuts, I pulled the 20-digit BCM PIN through the OBD port on the NATS6 system, generated the challenge response, and registered the new KR5S180144014 fob. Cut the emergency insert blade on site too. The whole thing took about 35 minutes, most of that being the immobilizer's timed seed-key handshake cycling through.
She tested the push-button start, the door handle touch lock and unlock, and the hatch release. Everything responded clean. Then she just sat there for a second with the engine running, like she was waiting for it to act up.
She kept the broken fob. Said she wanted to remember what it looked like held together with a hair tie.
