Last week in Lotusland, a 2024 Pathfinder owner called about intermittent "No Key Detected" messages. The car would start fine in the morning, then refuse to recognize the fob after sitting in the sun.

She mentioned the dealer wanted her to drop it off for half a day minimum. Standard practice when they're juggling oil changes and warranty work. Instead, we handled it right there in her driveway, tested all five buttons including the remote start and panic, verified both smart entry handles worked.
Total time from arrival to her heading out: 22 minutes. She saved a chunk compared to dealer pricing and kept her morning schedule.
