I pulled up to her place off Coast Village, plugged into the OBD port, read the vehicle's existing security data, and registered the new fob. Tested all five buttons, walked both front door handles for touch unlock, confirmed the start button saw the fob. Everything worked.
The fob she had already paid for online was fully usable. She just needed someone with the right equipment to finish the job she started. Total time at the car was under 40 minutes. She had the dealer quote in her phone. We came in at a fraction of that, that afternoon, in her driveway.
