A woman called me about her 2012 Subaru Impreza. She'd bought it used a few years back with one key, kept meaning to get a spare, and then the morning came when she forced the blade into a stiff lock cylinder and it snapped at the pivot. I decoded the lock, cut two new blades, transferred and verified the transponder data, and rebuilt the remote functions into a fresh housing.

By the time her neighbor backed out, she had two working keys in her hand.
