His separate proximity remote, the HYQ14AHK, paired right back up with no issues. Push to start worked on the first press.
I handed him the old wafers so he could see the wear for himself. One had a chip missing on the edge. He held it up to the light like he was inspecting a lift ticket.
Smooth ignition turn, clean key slide, and he kept every part that was still working. A fraction of what the dealer wanted, done in the parking lot.
