I got a call from a guy renting a place on the Sandyland Cove stretch in Carpinteria. He was out visiting for a few weeks, had his 2024 Impreza parked in the lot near the beach, and his only fob had stopped being recognized by the car. The push-button start just sat there. We got him a second fob programmed and tested before I packed up. The dealer would have been a tow, an appointment, and a wait. He was back at the beach by noon.
