A condo owner over in Adolfo Camarillo Ranch called me because a tow truck physically could not reach his Explorer. It was parked on the second level of an underground garage, low ceiling, tight turns, no way a flatbed was getting in there. The dealer told him to figure out how to get the car to them first. I pulled the door lock to read the wafers on his HU101 keyway, cut a fresh blade on my machine upstairs in the van, then came back down and got into the PATS through the OBD-II port with my VVDI2. Cloned the 4D-63 80-bit chip data onto a new transponder, built out the OUCD6000022 remote head shell with a fresh CR2032, and tested all three buttons plus the ignition cycle.
The whole thing took about 40 minutes. His car never moved until he drove it out himself.
He had called the dealer first. They quoted him weeks out and told him the car had to be on their lot. I walked into a garage with a bag and walked out with the job done. That is the whole pitch for what I do.
