Got a call around 3pm from a line cook stuck in a kitchen parking lot off College Park in Oxnard. His 2013 Honda Odyssey would not start, his shift began at 4, and you could hear the stress before he even finished explaining. Said his head chef had already called asking where he was.

The transponder antenna ring around the ignition was reading intermittently, but once I cleared the stored fault and re-registered his key, the engine fired right up.
Cut him a spare remote head key on site, programmed the fresh N5F-A04TAA, tested all five buttons on both keys, verified the immobilizer accepted both transponders on consecutive start cycles. Handed him the spare and told him to keep it somewhere that is not the glovebox of the same van.
He clocked in at 4:10. The dealer route would have meant a tow, a wait for parts, and a missed shift he could not afford. He texted me that night just saying thanks. Those are the calls I like, where 20 minutes actually changes someone's day.
