I was parked near The Oaks Mall area in Thousand Oaks on a Tuesday afternoon, finishing up a different job, when a call came in. An Odyssey owner had walked out of the mall to a van that wouldn't acknowledge her fob at all.

Everything checked clean. She was back inside the mall before I'd packed up my kit.

She mentioned she'd almost called the dealer. I told her what that afternoon would have looked like: tow, service appointment, probably a day without the van. Sometimes the fix is small. The job is making sure nothing else is waiting to surprise you before you drive away.
