Got a call one evening from a couple at a motel off Oxnard Boulevard, over near the South Bank neighborhood. Retired, doing a coast road trip in their 2002 Altima, and their only key just stopped turning the engine over. Crank but no start. The SECURITY light on the dash was blinking steady, which on these third-gen Altimas means the NATS immobilizer is rejecting the transponder signal.
