Rose Park sits in a quiet pocket of Oxnard where the streets narrow down and some blocks dead-end without warning. A guy called me from a cul-de-sac up there after his 2007 Altima stopped recognizing his fob entirely.

The dealer had quoted him a wait of a few days just to get an appointment, plus the car had to get there somehow. He got it done on his street, that afternoon, for a fraction of what they wanted.
