Got a call from a woman near the Oxnard Transit Center on a Wednesday afternoon. She had a 2011 Altima with the Intelligent Key system, push-to-start, the works. Her only fob, the KR55WK48903, had gone through the washing machine that morning. Totally dead. No door unlock, no start, nothing.

She pulled out of that lot with a working key, kid buckled in, and made it to wherever they were headed next. No tow truck, no two-day wait, no sitting in a dealer lounge watching daytime TV.
