I was out near Surfers Point on a Tuesday, parked on the street with the windows down because Ventura in the afternoon is too good to waste sitting in the van.

The call was a 1997 Mustang, one key left, and the owner wanted a spare before that last key disappeared. Simple enough on paper, but the 97 has a transponder system that requires both keys present and enrolled in the same session or the second key is dead on arrival.
