2020 Jeep Wrangler Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

Over near River Ridge Golf Course in Oxnard, a fleet manager at a rental return lot called me about three 2020 Wranglers. His operation had been shuffling fobs between vehicles for weeks and lost track of which key belonged to which Jeep. Every morning someone spent time sorting it out by trial and error. I drove out one morning and knocked all three out back-to-back. Each one runs the AES encrypted Hitag Pro transponder through the Wireless Control Module, which on the JL is behind the dash on the driver side. The 2020 models sit behind the Stellantis Security Gateway (SGW), so you need hardware that can authenticate through it or the OBD port just sits there doing nothing. I generated fresh chips, cut all three high-security SIP22 blades, programmed each fob through OBD, and tested proximity unlock on every door handle, remote lock and unlock, tailgate release, and push-to-start.

Three Jeeps, three new smart keys, one visit. Done before his first rental pickup of the day.
