He called at 9pm from the diner parking lot in Pleasant Valley Fields. His 2024 Wrangler wouldn't start after his dinner break during a night security shift. Push-to-start did nothing. No dash lights, no crank, no response. He was alone in a dark lot and his shift started again in an hour.

I stabilized the battery first, then reprogrammed his existing fob through OBD using the secured gateway workaround. The 4-button smart key paired back up and the Wrangler fired right up.
He made it to his security post on time. The problem wasn't the fob dying. It was a weak battery making the computer forget the key existed. That's the kind of diagnosis you get when someone shows up with the right tools and knows these systems. Dealer would have kept his Jeep overnight, then charged him way more than what I did.
