Got a call from a tech worker staying out near Ojai Valley Inn. She needed a spare smart key for her 2013 Highlander Limited and had already priced it at the dealer. The IM608 reads the seed data off the smart module, calculates the security password, and writes the new HYQ14AAB fob into the system. The whole handshake ran clean.
Cut the emergency insert blade on my machine right there in the parking structure. Then the real test: walked every door handle for proximity unlock, checked the lock button on each handle, cycled all four fob buttons including the hatch release, and hit the push-button start twice. Everything responded first try.
