A woman flagged me down in the Costco parking lot off Hollister in Goleta, right near the Isla Vista area. She had a 2015 Sequoia SR5, one key left, and the plastic bow on that key was cracked almost through the head. She could see the tiny glass transponder capsule sitting loose inside.

I cut a fresh TOY44G-PT blank, connected my Smart Pro to the OBD-II port under the dash, pulled the immobilizer seed data from the 93C56 EEPROM on the immo box, and wrote the new H-chip. The whole registration process on these second-gen Sequoias takes about ten minutes once you are connected because there is a timed security countdown the system runs before it accepts the key.
She turned the new key, engine caught immediately, no blinking security light. Then she just sat there for a second like she was waiting for it to stall.
The dealer had quoted her a week's wait and a tow. She got it done between shopping and loading groceries.
