Main Street corridor, Santa Paula. Guy walks out of the pharmacy and his 2023 Traverse won't detect the key. Push-start button just flashes orange. "No Remote Detected" on the dash.

I pulled up with HYQ4ES blanks already in the van. First check: battery voltage on his fob read 2.4V. Below the BCM's threshold. Fresh CR2032, but that only fixed the remote buttons. The BCM still wouldn't recognize it.
Hooked up my Autel to the OBD port and found stored code B3935-54. The BCM had dropped the key from memory during the low voltage event. Ran the relearn procedure through the Security menu. Takes about 12 minutes on these newer GMs while it cycles through the verification steps.
Both his keys back online, push-start working smooth. He asked what the dealer would charge. I just said he saved a good chunk and avoided the tow.
