Got a call from a guy near the Oxnard Transit Center whose 2020 Impala was stuck in a townhouse complex. Tight turns getting in, low overhang at the entrance, assigned spots pressed right against a wall. A tow truck already tried and couldn't make the geometry work. His only option was to drive it out, but he had no working key.

His Impala still had one working key, so this was an add-a-key job. I pulled up the BCM through the OBD port with my VVDI2, read the ID46 transponder data, and cloned it onto a fresh B111 blank. Then I cut the blade to code and built the five-button flip shell with the OHT01060512 housing and a new CR2032. Programmed the remote functions through the car's BCM, tested lock, unlock, trunk, remote start, and panic across the lot.
His car never had to move. I walked in with tools, walked out about 35 minutes later, and he had a fully working spare. The whole time he just stood there watching from his covered parking spot.
He mentioned the dealer quoted him a wait of over a week and wanted him to get the car there somehow. He seemed relieved that none of that was necessary.
