Got a call from a woman near the Ventura Performing Arts Center. She had a 2015 Expedition Platinum, one smart key, and it had just stopped working mid-errand. She asked how much a whole new key would have cost at the dealer. I told her it would have been a lot more than what she just paid, and she would have waited days for the part to come in. Ford dealers around here have to order the 164-R8092 fob and schedule a separate programming appointment. She was back on her way in about fifteen minutes.
