Watched it count down, let it finish. The HYQ14FBA wrote to permanent memory and the IM608 confirmation screen showed it stored.
Three consecutive start-stop tests, all clean. Doors, trunk, panic button, all responding.
He had already paid the first locksmith. That part I could not fix. But the car worked now, and he paid me a fraction of what the dealer quoted him over the phone.
