Guy was at a taco spot near Mandalay Village Marketplace in Oxnard and someone grabbed his backpack off the booth while he was at the counter. Keys, wallet, phone, gone. He borrowed the cashier's phone, called the police, then his girlfriend, then me.

I got there that evening. All-keys-lost on a C6 is a different animal from adding a spare. Adding a spare means the car already trusts an existing key and just appends a new ID. AKL means I wipe the entire key memory in the BCM through the OBD-II port and start fresh so the stolen fob is dead to the car. I used my Autel IM608 to access the BCM, clear the old key data, and register two new M3N5WY7777A proximity fobs from scratch. Cut both emergency blades, decoded the sidebar, tested push-button start, tested passive entry on both doors.
He drove home that night. The stolen fob can still physically turn the lock cylinder, but the Passkey 3+ immobilizer will not let the engine fire. That part he liked hearing.
