Ran my VVDI2 to read transponder data straight from it, which meant I could skip the full all-keys-lost security relearn. Extracted the broken blade fragment from the door cylinder, decoded it, and cut two fresh blades. Rebuilt her 20765513 fob into a new shell with the salvaged chip and programmed the second key to the car.
She stood there watching the blade come out of the lock in pieces and just shook her head. That quiet "I should have gotten a spare" look.
Thirty-five minutes, zero to two working keys. If you still have the broken fob, bring it. The chip data inside a cracked housing is almost always salvageable, and it makes the whole job faster.
