The 2017 Corvette uses a specific proximity fob, and there are variants out there that look nearly identical but are not a match. Before you call, check the factory FCC ID printed on the back of your existing fob and make sure the replacement matches it exactly. If the part numbers align, there is a good chance I can enroll it. If someone sold you a fob that is close but not correct, enrollment will fail no matter what software is used, and that is not a programming problem, it is a hardware mismatch. A key-not-detected warning with a fresh battery usually points in one of a few directions. First, check that the battery is seated fully and the contacts are clean. A slightly cocked battery will read dead to the car even if the cell tests fine on a meter.

If the battery checks out, the fob itself may have a damaged antenna or a cracked circuit board from a drop. These fobs take more abuse than people realize and internal damage is not always visible. The other possibility is that the fob lost its enrollment, which can happen after a battery drain, certain module resets, or if the car's security system was reset by a shop for another reason. If the car still starts and you just lose remote and proximity functions, re-enrollment is the fix. If the car will not start at all and the dash is showing a key warning, that is a different conversation and I would want the full picture before diagnosing remotely.
