Guy near the Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center in Oxnard called me after his spare fob went missing and his remaining key started acting up. Doors wouldn't unlock from more than a couple feet away, and twice the push-button start just sat there with "No Remote Detected" on the driver information center.

I showed up to his building in about 25 minutes. Pulled the B111 Lishi, decoded the door cylinder, read each wafer position, and cut the blade on a new 20765513 flip key right on my bench in the van. Then I paired the Hitag2 transponder and the remote through the OBD port. The PFS security relearn has a timed cycle built in, so the whole job ran around 35 minutes.

Before I left, I popped open his original fob too. The CR2032 was low, and one of the battery clip arms had a slight bow. Seated a fresh cell, pressed the contact flat, and his old key snapped back to full range.

Two working fobs, both tested on every button, both starting the car. He just leaned on the fender and watched.
