A guy in Port Hueneme, over near Port Hueneme Beach Park, called me around 11 at night. His 2019 Equinox Premier was sitting in the driveway and his only fob had just quit on him. Push-button start, no response. Doors wouldn't unlock with the handle sensor. Nothing.

I programmed it, tested passive entry on all four doors, tested the push-button start, and ran the remote start twice to make sure it cycled clean.
The whole thing took maybe 25 minutes in his driveway.
He just stood there watching me test the last door handle, kind of quiet, like he was still mentally calculating tow fees. Then he said something along the lines of, "I didn't even know this was a thing someone could do at a house."
