A dad in Heritage Square, over in Oxnard, called me from a pediatrician's parking lot on a Tuesday. His 2018 Suburban needed a replacement smart key. He'd already called the dealer. The whole job took about 35 minutes. He never moved the car seat. Never called for a ride. Never rearranged his week.

He just buckled in, started it with the button, and pulled out of the lot the same afternoon he called.
